Songs is Irritating Rainbow's follow up to Hockle Peachers.
The
album's title was inspired by a McDonald's / Disney tie in, and
the artwork features the morphed heads of Ryan, Peter, and Todd.
Again,
the album was recorded on reel to reel 8-track, using a variety
of instruments.
Cleverly
avoiding the sophomore jinx, Racial Songs is
home to many classic Irritating Rainbow songs,
including "Tractor Plane"
and "The Merciful Flycatcher".
