Hockle Peachers
Hockle
Peachers is Irritating Rainbow's first album. It grew out
of a group project in a film class shared by Ryan, Peter,
and Todd.
Instead
of making a generic art film involving a coffee shop and smoking
cigarettes, or stealing poorly exposed out-takes from the
editing room's trim bin, the group conspired to create a multi-song
'Rock Opera'.
They
chose the project's name, 'Alternating', by randomly picking
the thirteenth word off of a tabletop ad at a local pizzeria.
With that, a band was born.
The
album was recorded in the school's sound studio using a reel
to reel 8-track. Take that, White Stripes!
